University Vice-Chancellors (VCs) and Registrars were recently recognized at the Nepal Education Award-University VC & Registrar Commendation Ceremony, held at The Malla Hotel in Kathmandu on 18th February 2024. The commendation accolade was bestowed by the Rt Hon’ble Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, Chairperson of the National Assembly of Nepal, based on the recommendation of the Chief of the Jury, Prof. Dr. Bhim Prasad Subedi, Former Chairperson of UGC.
The event, chaired by Bhawani Prasad Paudel, a patron of College Readers, featured program proceedings led by the CEO of College Readers, Jeetendra Ghimire, and was hosted by the Editor of College Readers, Keshav Nepal.
The evaluation committee established two criteria for the selection of honorees: University VCs and Registrars nearing the end of their term, and those currently serving in their positions, both deemed worthy of this prestigious recognition.
